Our friends from a Moscow agency of marketing communications Zeppelin Production addressed us with a rather simple task. They asked us to develop an application for PR-support of Davidoff Cigarettes partner. All the application had to do is to run a short promo and collect contacts from all the party guests that are interested in attending similar events in the future. Naturally, the job had to be done in accordance with all the restrictions imposed on tobacco advertisement. They asked us to develop an application for PR-support of Davidoff Cigarettes partner. All the application had to do is to run a short promo and collect contacts from all the party guests that are interested in attending similar events in the future. Naturally, the job had to be done in accordance with all the restrictions imposed on tobacco advertisement.

However, the task was remarkable because the application delivery date was dictated by the party date. The application was expected to be operational in two weeks after the customer addressed us with technical specification. All our colleagues-developers declined this job saying that the time frame is absolutely unattainable. Just the review procedure on Apple side, which is compulsory to publish the application in Apple Store, may take up to three weeks. Nevertheless, having resorted to professional cunning (and two sleepless nights, of course ) we managed to meet this absolutely unattainable, at first glance, time scale. In couple of weeks, a dozen of new iPad Air flaunted on their places and successfully collected user details.

To be fair, we have to say that we did not publish the application in Apple Store, but used an alternative way of publication. That alternative way is what saved us in this desperate, at first sight, situation.
